<<<Well, a great time it was. Weather well it was.....
tolerable. I
guess we where lucky it didn't piss down all over us,
like this poor lad,
Them isolated showers, what can we say. Really sad I
had to leave
before the real show started, but I hope I will get
filled in on what I
messed.. opps missed. Thanks to all, especially Paul K
for which none of
this would have ever started, and "BYS" for the
awesome location yet
again. More to come, Mark S >>>
Reeeeeeeeal quick folks... I'd like to make something
verrrrrry clear.
While I enjoy a good f'n with someone (oh reeeeally I
do), ***NONE***
of us involved with the event thought much of that
post-midnight stuff
was at all appropriate. None. Yeah some of it was
likely deserved as
that guy was, well, nuff said.
If an event doesn't occur next year, you'll all know
why, yeah. Those
kind enough to 'do that' to the dude were also 'kind
enough' to leave
the friggin mess scattered about in the a.m. for *us*
to clean up,
including worse yet, the carnage what was 'that guy'.
Yeah, we know, many
find it funny. Funny as heck. We do not. If by some
odd
reason-defying reason there is another event, you can
be sure who will NOT be
coming - and that's not just out of my mouth. Be
sure. Not just 'that
guy', no.
Enough of my beoching. I just find it important for
all to know that
our event is not about 'that'. That was a small
contingency, late late
night Sat. of the more juvenile crowd. Unfortunately
the risqu? stuff
is sensationalism and that's what gets talked about /
pics posted
first. Also of note, I had little to nothing to do
with the 'other' earlier
activity that occurred that may raise some brows. No
joke.
I see Tommyboy Pollock has posted some more on AW of
what the weekend
was really like
http://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/132282.phtml.
Thanks Tom! A bunch of us are in process of dumping
our files to Darin to
hopefully post soon.
Stay tooned. This has always been and was an
extremely top notch
event. We'd like you all to see / know it properly.
-Paul
ps. thanks for the kind words Mark. Sure I started
this but as I
announced during the raffle, 'this' is nothing without
'you'. I'm just the
insanery!

Well as me being the guy who brought the guy I think
I should say something as well......I blame myself ..I
guess the most hart felt sorry from me to anyone goes
to Bys..I was at his house last night picking up
garbage bags to in some way atone for my mistake of
assuming he had a ride home.
Then a heart felt sorry goes out to Paulie K, Bob R,
Scott, Jim, Jeff & any of the organizers I missed. I
know Paulie comes off as a joker on the forums but
he's the kinda guy who would take the POS out his car
for you...as I've been going to //sfest for the past 5
years & seen it grow from 30 cars to over 70..with
people coming from far & wide, & the cars..oh the
cars, & meeting a bunch of top notch people along the
way it pains me to know that I may have had a part to
play in the demise of //sfest"07" cause in the end for
the small bit of fun that was had at Austins(the guy)
expense it really hurt everyone. & to the guys to had
a part to play in the shenanigans that happened to
said guy...fun is fun but your not at the frat house
anymore...grow up!!
Again & as I explained to paulie K yesterday I'm
sorry & hope that there is //sfest "07"
Thanx
