Ron,

Like I wrote in AW, I do not think you should blame
yourself. Nor do I
think the blame rests with those who may have been
"helping" Austin get
that
way.

The blame rests solely on the person who made the beer
go from keg to
glass
to mouth. This comes from a former "stupid drinker
tricks" sort of
guy.

It would be a shame if the East Coast boyz decided
they'd had enough
based
solely on that incident - but I'm guessing there's
more than just that,
and
that this is not the first year that some headache has
arisen. I don't
know
anything more than what's been posted, so I *am* just
guessing.

Austin needs to learn, just as I did, that you have a
limit and you
stick to
it. If there's twelve different kinds of beer, you
sure as h3LL do not
need
to pull a full pint of each one. Now, the other guys
egging him on,
and
then making the most out of his degradation is pretty
weak, but Austin
put
himself in that position.

Yes, I know it sounds cold. But I've *been there*.
You're his friend,
so
you have the duty to bust his b at llz over this. I wish
I'd had a friend
who
did that for me, rather than waking up naked under a
bush, covered in
my own
vomit.

Again, Ron, this is my opinion,

Eric "never again, and never have - for the last 15
years"

Eric, et all...I thanx you all for the kind words to
me but the fact of the matter is that none of this
discussion would be taking place now if I had taken
Austin with me when me & my daughter left. & not
knowing all involved who had a hand in egging Austin
on I can only say is it was sad. Some must have a
complex cause if they find that what happened to
Austin was a J/K then there the J/K!! Fun is fun but
my dad said a long time ago that you treat people the
way you'd want to be treated..I guess that went out
the window with the perverbial bath water!

But I know to much about waking up in a "unfamiliar"
place...the random bathtub, dorm room..dare I say next
to whats her name doh... my grandpa died of serosis of
the liver & my ol man is on the same track that he is,
& one morn I woke up & looked in the mirror & said
that was it..till 6 months ago I was dry for over 10
years, but now I know when I have a few I know when to
stop..specially driving round that very important &
precious package I all so brought to //sfest..my 9
year ol..or is she 19 year ol daughter who absolutely
is in love with Arpy..& I think I am as well ;P..but a
great bunch of guys you all are fer-sure!!

& funny thing is Austin is a great guy!!! he donated
the 034 adaptor plate at the raffle & won it
back..doh..how funny was that at the time!! Then
gifted it back. & then won the Mineah chip..freaking
he was happy a pig in shit..which I'm glade it did not
come to.
But Austins putting my old AAN S4 motor in his 90q.
With my help it should be quiet a car. But Austin
besides the pic you all have in your mind of him is a
very nice kid who got out of controll on his own. But
those who helped him & didn't recognize he was well
past the legal limit should be ashamed..that point I
disagree with you about though Eric. Someone should
have stepped in..but thats were it goes back to me not
being acountable for my guess.
Thanx
Ron
