Hi folks,
Thanks again for all the info. As it turns out, I lucked out and found
a local place that actually rebuilds alternators. They tested mine,
and the voltage regulator is OK (though the brushes are pretty worn).
It looks like one of the rectifier diodes is burned out.
At any rate, they're rebuilding my alternator today, so hopefully I'll
have the car back on the road tomorrow.
