[s-cars] front seat headrests

Tom is correct; the post spacing on the open and the solid headrests is
different both front and rear. You could probably swap over the fronts by
swapping the entire seatback. The rear headrest supports are spot welded to
the bodywork, so changing them over is a larger project.

Tom, those must be really late model UrS6s that have open headrests. My '97
is a 12/96 build and it has the solid headrests. I prefer the open ones and
was considering repositioning the rear mounts to accommodate the open units.
Fortunately I came to my senses before I could find my spotweld cutter.....

Another bit of trivia - the open headrests in my S4 appear to be leather
covered. I think the solid ones in my S6 are covered in the hide of the
mythical Nauga beast....

In the terms you have given, Ed, no the URS4 open headrests will not
interchange with
the solid headrests in the URS6. Now some of the late model URS6
vehicles have open
headrests and should interchange with the earlier solid headrests.

The problem is the post spacing is different in the URS4 and URS6
models.
