Chris,

I have the LLTek. By the looks of your damages bumper, the lower valence from the LLTek will not solve your problem.  You actually cut out a small section of the OE bumper in the install, but that is near where the license plate is located. I think that crack on the passenger side near the air inlet will do you in.

I think there are some pics of my install on S-Cars.org picture gallery.

The LLTek bumper is more squared off at the corners when looking at the car from the front, the OE bumper is curved more, so the clearance at the corners with the LLTek is not as good.  The LLTek does not hang much lower than stock otherwise, maybe 1/2 " at the most.

I got their pre-painting option, but mine is pock marked now, revealing the white primer underneath the finish coat of black paint in my case. I did wax it after a curing period, but the paint still flaked off from stones I imagine.

Good luck with your project, the insurance company totaled my trusty e30 iX after it was T-boned recently.

Gentz,

as you may already know, I am attempting to keep my car from
being totaled.

What I would like to find out is thoughts on my front bumper, which
you can see in the following pic is damaged.

It looks like it may be cheaper to buy the lower valance from
LLtek and use it to repair my bumper. Pic of S4 with valance below:

What I'd like to find out is:

If you did the LLtek valance upgrade, what are your thoughts? Are you
happy with the results, does the bumper scrape? If the crack on teh
pasenger's side of the bumper is repairable can I use the valance on
my bumper?

Look wise do you prefer the stock bumper or the one with the LLtek
valance?
