225/50 x 16 are the correct size for the URS6.  If you run 225/55 x 16, your speedometer will be 3.6% too slow - when your speedo reads 60 mph you will really be doing 62.1 mph.  They are a little taller than the stock tires.  205/55 x 16 would be optimum as narrower tires are better in the snow.

I run the 225/50 16 winter tires on my URS6 and it does fine in the mountains at the ski resort every weekend.  But if they are calling for lots of snow (a foot or more), I'll take my Trooper instead since it has a lot more ground clearance and mudder tires.

Finally tracked down a decently priced set of winter wheels, they are 8j x 16 et 40 for the urs6, i can also get a hold of some winter rubber which would be 225/55/16 is this size of tyre gonna be ok on these rims and will i be altering the speedo much???
