Merry Belated X-Mas All,
   
   After replacing my knock sensor, I thought I had solved my high temp miss. I get to think again. 
   
  Turbo?
   
   After steady climb, things get bumpy. Finally starts shutting down under anything but lite throttle. Pull over and hit the throttle from the engine compartment and the turbo spools and then rattles under release. Twice the same thing. So park it.
   
   After cooldown, the traffic is lighter and the exterior temp is lower, and a smooth trip for the remainder.
   
   How do I check for play in the turbo? 
   
   Recomendations for replacements?
