Hi folks,

This winters project was to fit hazard warning triange on the inside of the
trunk lid. The lining of the trunk lid has the depression there already for
the parts to be fitted. I sliced the liner at the top where the triangle
will slide thru. I also placed some sticky backed carpet on the trunk lid
behind the liner so the triangle wouldn't scratch the paint when slid in.

The parts

Triangle: I have 4b5 860 251 C, obtained used from
http://www.4ringspares.co.uk/ (I was in England last summer) but ETKA shows
the 99 A6Q with the B version triangle (page 860-00)
Bracket: 4b5 860 285 D
Speed nets - I used GM parts (white about half inch square) tho dealer will
have them.
Two 8 x 1.5 inch self tap screws.

The liner has an imprint of the bracket on it. The part listed fits exactly
in this inprint. Behind the liner are two square holes in the trunk lid for
the speed nuts.

Nice tidy fit. Can send pics if you're interested.

Next job a little bit more tricky...big brake upgrade!
