[s-cars] UrS6 2500 rpm "flat spot"

I took a UrS6 out for a test drive the other day and noticed that after
upshifting, the engine seemed to bog a bit as it went through 2500 RPM. The
idle is also a bit rough - it bounces 50 - 100 RPM. Seems to pull OK
otherwise. I didn't have time to check it out further, but an intake leak
comes to mind. The car dealer's mechanic thinks the MAF is pooched. Any
other ideas from the collective?
