[s-cars] RS 2 upgrade meanderings

Whoa there big fella.
As for the boost gauge, good one to have, the VDO or Autometer is usually the way to go with an LED gel to match interior lighting. As for the EGT and A/F...
With the EGT, by the time you notice that something is up and the ECU hasn't already dialed things back for you, you have bigger problems. For a straight up RS2 conversion, I wouldn't bother, based solely on the fact that the stock ECU will figure it out before you do.
Same with the A/F gauge. If you get a standard Autometer narrowband A/F gauge, it pretty much serves the same purpose as Christmas lights. Not really much functional purpose, but it does look pretty whren you're cruising to the local ricer meet.
Now if you actually go to the trouble of getting a proper wideband O2 sensor and display, I would assume that you are tuning your own car, in which case disregard my EGT advice above. Thing is, those Bosch WBO2 sensors go bad often and are only really accurate precat, so I don't know why you'd bother on a plain Jane RS2 car, as there are tons of chipsets out there that do the job just fine.
If you're just going for the shiny light factor, though, all of the above plus an underbody neon and strobe kit would do the job just fine.

While I get everything together for the power boost project, I began to
think about gauges to insure all is as expected once installed.
I need to get a vacuum/boost gauge, A/F ratio gage and an A pillar mounting
pod. I thought I also had seen a gauge mount that replaces one of the
center stack vents. Any BTDT? Who has the best deals right now? Maybe
also an EGT gauge, although that may definitely be overkill.
