[s-cars] Ebay stolen Vin Registration

Calvin, I don't think you can count on Ebay for anything stolen merchandise.
I suspect there will have to be legislation to do just that. The pawn shops
must have a sheet to identify everything that is pawned and this sheet must
be turned into the police at night. Ebay on the other hand does not take
responsibility for anything other than to put buyer and seller together.
They are being sued by Tiffany and others because of the sale of all of the
knockoffs that are sold on Ebay without restraint. I purchased one of the
Tiffany's for my daughter. They used the Tiffany picture, but when I got
the item it had fewer links than the original and the links were smaller.
Fortunately I got my money back, but it is buyer beware in that market.

Pat,

Man...sorry to hear that. This one should be pretty easy though from a
finding perspective since they are sooo rare. Watch E-Bay/craigslist/etc. I
would guess E-Bay has a stolen VIN registration system or something like
that??? If they don't they ought to. Good Luck!
