I haven't noticed this, myself.  I use this spray stuff called
"Invisible Glass" to clean the windshield.  It's kind of a PITA but the
results are worth it.  You need to use a microfiber cloth to apply it, or
else it hazes.  Come to think of it maybe that's due to the rain-x.
