Yes, my '99.5 A4 1.8t also uses a flexible segment at the bottom of the
factory downpipe. If I could offer one suggestion, a flexible bellows
replaceable separately from the downpipe would be nice.

The Audi A4 1.8t stock downpipe is integrated with the flex portion and
must be replaced as one unit when the flexible bellows fails, which is
every four years or so on most Audis so equipped here in the snow (make
that salt and rust) belt. The downpipe is usually just fine, but much
$$$ must be shelled out to replace the unit as a whole.

Offering my $0.02,
-Dave

Greetings,

For my 97 S6, I drained the center diff/tranny and refilled with 2.5
liters of G005000. I tried to find the correct capacity, and in ETKA,
it appeared to be 2.5 liters, but it seemed like the tranny would have
taken quite a bit more. Before changing the fluid, it was occasionally
difficult to get into first gear when sitting still (would have to
roll a little), now it is more common to have difficulty getting into
first.

So, how much fluid should I put into the center diff?

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks for the segue. Since I am now running the 034EFI Intake Manifold
and
their fuel rail, I can no longer use the billet aluminum fuel injector
cover.
This one, of course, has been polished ;-) Price is $250 shipped to the
Conus.

Glad to report that the car was found tonight about 2 miles from my home.
The only thing they took was the xm receiver (no big loss there) and some
dash bits to release the above. It was also a bit dirtier than it was before
but otherwise unmolested. Unfortunately the $15000 worth of stuff from the
house was not safely in the passenger seat but we can't have everything.

Maybe they heard about the legendary power and handling of the S-cars and
had to experience it themselves.

Thank you for your well wishes.

My home was burglarized Saturday night and they took my car. It was in
Duvall, Washington. They took some other stuff from the house as well but
we actually got off pretty easy considering we were 4 hours away and where
we live.

Details on the car.

95 S6 Avant, Green with Ecru. It was an early S6 so it had the IR key
bubbles on the b-pillar. It also had an xm antenna on the right rear of the
roof. It was wearing 18" black powder coated RS4 replicas with brand new
Pirelli PZero Neros on them. Chances are these will pop up without the car.
They are pretty unique so I am hoping it will be hard for them to get rid
of.

If you have any information on this please call me @425-844-9609.
