There is a web site that has a lot of factory parts called IMPEX, but
I have lost the link. Perhaps a lister has a web address for them.
Darin sourced a brake caliper from them
for me. I see these are RS6 parts you are pricing. Many dealers
are not qualified to service the vehicle and that may affect parts
availability also.
I concur with the frustration in dealer pricing. It's called
capitalism or free market or price gouging, depending on your frame
of reference. I see no replacement for the legwork you are doing.
