That knob was defective, but it's just as well.  I think you got off easy,
considering that was the only damage.  Well, other than the fact that I
practically ripped the front subframe out of the GGC when doing an
enthusiastic shift to 4th on the highway.

Or, perhaps, I should stick to driving my automatic F-150 luxury truck.
