[s-cars] Euro Lights?

Brian;

You can't buy the DOT glass lens separately; you have to replace the entire
light assembly if you want to stick with the officially sanctified DOT
lights.

The Euro glass lens is available as a separate piece. You can install the
Euro lens on the DOT housing once you remove the epoxy holding the lens
clips in place on the DOT light.

Gents,

I've got a broken lens on my stock lights. Should I upgrade to a Euro
replacement glass, or stick with DOT. Europrice sells a pair of Euro
lenses for just over $100.

Thanks,

Brian

you would be wasting your effort. I have Euros, and run 100W bulbs in all 3
positions, and they are fully relayed. It simply isn't a big improvement.
I would strongly suggest that you simply take your stock setup, and convert
to the HIDs for your low beams. This is a much better bang for the buck...
and apparently doesn't make your autocheck system unhappy, and can be done
with stock wiring. Jerry Scott did a nice clean install with stock wiring.
