While the S4tt wheels have a little too high of an offset to look nice
visually, they will most definitely clear the brakes. These wheels w/o
spacers will clear UFO brakes as well as BIRA S2UFO with plenty of space to
spare. Big Reds and other brakes will be no problem at all.
With 7.5" wide wheels, the widest tire you can run within tire spec is a
235/45R17. 235/40 is out of spec. 225/45R17 is the correct size in terms of
rolling diameter.
Makes for a good snow wheel with BIG brakes- 205/50R17 work fine and plenty
of clearance so you don't have to worry about gravel scraping the caliper or
other such issues.
