[s-cars] Baby seat question - Latch connectors?

Chris,
I went through this exercise a couple of years ago for my C4 avant and my wife's C5 avant. The dealer only provides the LATCH anchors for the C5 ('98 for the sedan, '99 for the avant), which reside between the bench and seat back.
For the C4's they provide the anchor for the tether strap used on most of the car seats (except for the bases used in many infant seats). That anchor mounts on the rear parcel shelf for sedans or under the third row seat in the C4 avants. The anchor is just a heavy-duty strap with a "D" ring that the tether clamps to. I had the choice of having them mount one or all three seat positions.
It was free of charge when I had it done for both cars.
I will add that with the Baby Trend infant seat and the Britax seats, the C4 is probably one of the easiest cars to install these seats I've ever done (at least compared to Honda, Toyota, Subarus, and some GM vehicles I've installed them on), so I don't see a huge benefit with the LATCH anchors.
