[s-cars] Rear brake saga - will the questions *never* end?

So....
All the parts are installed. I probably screwed some stuff up, so
I'll go in order:
1.) I filled the e-brake cable boot at the caliper with caliper
grease. I dunno if the 0-degree weather here will make that a problem
some time.
2.) The braided lines from StopTech were an inch longer than the
stock lines. Makes me nervous that they're gonna rub on stuff when
the suspension is in it's normal position.
3.) I have read, variously, about how clean new rotors need to be. I
cleaned them really well with brake cleaner, but one of the places I
read said that if you put your fingers on them, they need to be
cleaned again. Huh? They get up to temps that *melt organic friction
material*! A little bit of finger oil is going away immediately on
first brake application. I mean, I've tried to make sure everything
was pretty darn clean (especially the brake lines connections), but
really, as long as the pads aren't soaking in brake fluid, the rotor
covered in machining oil, etc, they oughta work pretty well, right?
4.) I'm going to bleed them this evening with my shiny, new vacuum
bleeder. I figure if I have any fluid left over, I'll bleed the
clutch. Where is the bleeder nipple?
Thanks,
Eric
