[s-cars] Importing a car to Canada and DRLs. Please help.

If I recall correctly there is an extra relay involved in the DRL circuit as
well as the resistor Mark mentions. When I installed my HIDs I bypassed the
DRL resistor since you can't run "dim" HIDs. The DRL circuit is shown in the
Bentley.

The DRL's on my 93 s4 constitute nothing but a resistor wire to drop the
voltage.
I am not sure if the switch in the steering column is different, or if all
the Audis come with the "potential" for DRL.
The extra contacts in the switch may not be designed for DRL alone, so it's
possible that it has other uses that would make it universal.

I may be importing a vehicle in the near future from our neighbors to the
south, so I will be in the same boat.
Don't forget the French language labels for stuff such as air bag.  :-)
