if it's helpful, i can take a picture of a 996 caliper that i have lying
around, and point out the fitting for the brake hose. it should be similar
to the 993tt caliper.
as you've probably figured out, the porsche calipers don't use banjo
fittings with crush washers.

i wouldn't bother spending money on cadmium plating or slotting.
if the rust bothers you, spray the rotors with self-galvanizing primer.
the brake pads will clean it right off the working surfaces of the
rotors (same thing would happen to cadmium plating), but the rest of
the rotors will be protected against rust.
