[s-cars] V8 Torsen rear

Sorry but that's just wrong. There are two different types of V8 rear
diffs. An AFV and AXZ. Both have a 37:9 (4.11:1) crown and pinion.
The differences between the two are in the Torsen itself, not the gear
ratio. Don't know what the actual difference in the Torsen is, but the
AFV is the early type used on the '89 & '90 models, with '89 being
Europe only, and only used on automatic transmissions. The AXZ was used
on manuals in all years, in extended wheelbase V8 automatics starting in
Jan '90, and all automatics after the start of the '91 MY. The AFV,
besides the actual stamping, is externally distinguishable from the AXZ
by the location of the top vent. On the AFV the vent is at the top
center of the casting and there is a hole in the casting for it. On the
AXZ the vent is moved over to the left flange side of the casting, and
is naturally a little bit lower down. Whether the relocation of the
vent has anything to do with the change in the torsen itself, or is just
coincident, I don't know. But they BOTH used the same 4.11 to 1 gear
ratios.
Any year V8 rear diff will work.
