Feico:  I posted earlier in the month about the alternative of using the Hitachi POS from the mid-90's 12v Audi V6 wasted spark ignition.  They work (plug and play) and are about 2/3 the price of our OE Bosch POS units.

And then, of course, there are un-named alternatives that end in 115L.

Not that I ever suggest that one to any one.  ;>)

NOTE:  The S2 forum discovered my 1.8t coil pack conversion pdf sometime in the fall and several people have made the conversion already.
