Dear Listers,

Happy New Year from Australia. On New Year's Eve I was going to test my
car, having the previous day completed the D. Forgie fuel-pump rewiring
(thanks Dave--very explicit and clear instructions).

Stepped outside and almost fainted from the heat. Hottest NY Eve on record,
42.9C or 109 in US currency. I decided that this mightn't be the best day 
to do 80-120kph runs, so went back inside and had a beer.
