not in mine.  one of them (don't remember which) failed
shortly after i did an oil change with mobil 1, and left
a huge puddle of oil under the car after driving the car.
unfortunately, that puddle of oil was in the parking garage
at work 12 miles away, and the oil loss was enough for the
level to be down by about a quart.

i don't know if you'd call that a gush, but it was certainly
enough to produce a big puddle of oil under the car.
