[s-cars] TNNYDT - keeping it at bay

yeah, the part was a shocking $7 or so at the dealer.
the only cheaper repair would be replacing the clamp
on the hose that goes to the moisture separator to regain
lost boost.

unfortunately, that hasn't fixed my car's inconsistent
boost loss. i just took out the hoppen-sourced turbo to
cross-over hose, which looks perfect, and am about to install
the samco hose just because i have it sitting around. the
forge bypass valve seems to be working fine, based on testing
with a mityvac, but i'm going to put in a 710N that i just
acquired for the biturbo S4 (the stock diverter valves seem
not to be working very well). i'll be replacing the little
hose that runs from the nipple on the bypass valve to the
intake manifold.

i'm assuming that the above is not going to fix the problem,
so my next step will be to test the wastegate bypass regulator
valve (which you guys have been referring to as the wastegate
frequency valve) and check the hoses. i need to do the output
test.
