Dave!  You've certainly earned that lens I told you I'd send you heh
heh.  I usually hate when the list details consumer products / audi
stuff like this but THANKS for the very understandable info brief for
the unedumucated (very much me).  I guess this stuff is car related and
becoming the way of the future.  Wife's getting me a 30gig for bday in
March hopefully, and I'm trying to learn more about what route I should
go.  This info sure helped me.  10 disc changer be damned!  I may toss
it in a fire and dance around it once iPod'ed.  No I'm not kidding
(hey... be happy Jim P. / Rossato / I spared ya'll of this @ //SFest -
0kq carcass was going to be bonfired and danced around Pagan style - now
she's cubed).

Pasqualoni got me hooked with his iTrip RF adapter and jumping car to
car to car to house with it.  Love that thought.  I drive too many damn
cars!  I didn't note much sound degradation, and IIRC iTrip plugs into
headphone jack, no?  Should I consider alternative means for my intended
uses / non audiophile ears?  

Keeping in mind (as I told Lee offlist moments ago)... I'm notably deaf
(mostly to my wife's voice - go figure) from yeeears of audiophiling @
um 11, WOT'ing in buzzy cars forever day in day out, firing M16s in
naked ears, chainsaws, ya know, the typical stuff.

Go ahead.  Dare ya'll to edumucate me further (off list or on list for
all us ignerants here).

I'll try and box up that Euro lens next week as promised.  Thank Super
Keith Maddock for that gem.
