i tried one of those cubes before, and it does have nubs
that will fit a ford. but you have to push pretty hard
on it to keep the nubs engaged in the notches, and you have
to make sure the tool stays flat against the piston. the
cube is pretty "tippy", and i found it difficult to use,
especially since i was holding the caliper with my other
hand.
if you slip while turning and pushing with a lot of force,
you stand a decent chance of bashing your knuckles.
it was easier to buy the hockey-puck style tool. no
skinned knuckles for me.
