I hit some black ice while on my way to Detroit for
thanksgiving. The car went into the ditch and turned
on its side. I tried to post some pics, but keep
getting an upload error. I can email the pics for
someone else to post. 

I was trying to make a deal for the red avant that was
listed in the audiworld-classified section by Klaus
Euromotive in NH that needed an engine and trans. But
due to the shady and deceitful way that they conduct
business, the due never materialized. So since I
cannot find a suitable shell for my components I will
more than likely be parting the car at the end of the
month. I am now driving a 2001 A8L. It’s not an S, but
its not to shabby either. I am giving myself till the
end of the month to compile a list of all of the parts
and pieces that I have, decide how to liquidate the
items (list/ebay/pickup), or find a suitable shell. In
the mean time here is a preliminary and partial
listing.

1996 Blue S6 with beige interior

Drivers seat with 2 new seat heat elements with about
15 minutes of use
Less than 150 miles on rebuilt head:
New intake valves, valve guides and seals, metal head
gasket, new RS2 turbo, new RS2 manifold, ported and
gasket matched head, intake and exhaust manifolds, new
MTM chips for RS2 w/stock injectors, bosch 3 bar
sensor, new IAT sensor, new timing belt, water pump,
idler pulley and serpentine belt.

The engine runs so smooth you won’t believe it. No
noise, leaks or burning oil. So quiet you can hear
only the injectors working. I had the headwork done by
Apex auto machine in Bensenville. I personally
assembled the engine and will guarantee it.

1 set of MTM II+ chips
1 set of stock chips
1 stock turbo
1 set of 17” S4 avus replicas
1 set of 16 OEM avus with BFG’s with less that 500
miles
1 set of HR sport springs
1 set of custom valved bilstiens
1 set of  2bennett camber plates
1 set of stock brake pads
1 set of front rotors w / approx 600 miles

Never mounted still in box items:
1 set of Porsche big blacks
1 set of A8 rotors 323x30
1 set of RS2 mounting brackets
1 Hap rear sway bar kit (bar came with defective
mounting brackets over a year and a half ago. Just got
the replacements sent a week after the accident-
thanks for the great customer service Hap! NOT!)

It was a great time on this list, even with all of the
crying, arguing and coat-tail dragging yes men. You
