[s-cars] starting issues?

normally when I turn the key it's crank crank start even today when leaving the house.  had a class for 2 hours then get back in car and it just cranked prolly 10 times before I stopped, waited 2 seconds and turned the key again.  crank crank start like normal.  drove 20 miles to my home town bar I leave car for about 3 hours then get in to start it and it took 5-6 cranks till start.  what could be the cause of this? it was 26 degrees out tonight, but I've never had this issue before
  plugs/boots.fuel filter all new since summer
