Fellow S-nutz,

My 93 S4's clutch now has over 246,000 miles on it, or atleast
I believe it does.

I'm the third owner, received alot of service documents from
the previous owners, and there isn't any mention of the clutch
having been replaced.

I've been hoping to find a good deal on a 6-speed tranny, and
do the 6-speed upgrade at the same time as the clutch.

BUT

Twice now while cruising on the highway in 5th gear, when I went
to pass another car the clutch slipped a bit. I got off the gas
and acceleratted easier and everything was fine.

My big queston is:

Do I have to replace the clutch NOW, or is this slipping normal
wear andI can continue searching for a tranny?

Thanks
Chris
