Could someone who knows the in's and out's of payments to German eBay
sellers provide me the 101?
It looks like most of the German sellers request direct transfer into a
German bank account.
Is this easily done?
It seems like the buyer assumes all the risk. Obviously it leaves little
opportunity to contest payment if items are not delivered.
You'll need their bank account number, and the routing number. It also
helps to get the name and address of the bank, as some of them don't appear when
your bank goes to do a lookup. Then you just do a straight transfer. Banks
usually charge $6-8 to do this.
Yes... the buyer assumes risk. However, having bought stuff off of Ebay.de
many times, I have yet to get anything but positive results.
Good luck,
Dave
