Paul:  You may have one or two problems: either a "Michelin Man" hose
that is split but only opens under boost OR your Cam Position Sensor
(Hall 
Sender) is on its way out.  You need to check the ECU fault codes and 
report back.  One blink code procedure you can (should) use is at Scott
