Max,
Its probably your lifters.  I've had a few 10v cars and they all have made 
this noise at some point in their lives.  Make sure you're using a heavy 
enough oil.  I use Mobil 1 15/50 in mine and it is as quiet as these engines 
get (I think).  If oil isn't your problem, its probably time for lifter 
replacement.
