Hey guys, the wife's car is ready for some new brake pads. We have been
using Mintex pads but they always seem to squeal and with the new baby
squealing brakes will not due. What pad does not squeal. I'm not
concerned about much performance and if I take the car to the track I
have track pads so I would just like a set of grabby non squealing pads
for the road. Are textar pads the way to go? Anything else? Where to
buy? Thanks,

Elijah>>>

I replaced my mulched squeekyass Mintex Reds with Porsche OE Textars in
my 993tt's. They squealed here and there until they bedded, haven't
since and that's been a while. Now only the wife squeals (that I'm
going too fast / stopping too late). And they feel work worlds better.
And less pad shrapnel goo inside the wheel / down the side of the car,
to boot!

Forget where I got them, or how much. Sorry.

I know others have had luck with Hawk's.

Enjoy yer bambino!
