[s-cars] (urgent) Fwd: '92 S-4 climate control + external tempsensor

Since I don't have a Bentley wiring diagram I am of little assistance...but
one idea I had was to just turn it onto defrost. I believe that no matter
what the temp is the AC will come on in that mode and he can get back to New
England that way. I am not 100% sure but it's worth a shot. Otherwise, I
would also think about hardwiring the clutch on the compressor to the on
position, if you are 100% certain your refrigerant quantity is good. I am
sure other people with Bentley's can provide better suggestions...but
stranded with no tools/manuals I would probably try one of the above. I am
sure if you need a multimeter to figure things out with you can find one on
the Cape somewhere to borrow in the parking lot.
I thought I was the only one crazy enough to drive my S4 over 1,500 miles to
the Cape for TDY Launch Duty...but apparently not :) I just couldn't
stomach the idea of a rental car all summer last year.

tempsensor
Hey all- can any C4 climate control experts get in touch with Dave?
I suggested possibly unplugging the faulty sensor, linked him to a
post or two in the archives, and suggested wiggling/unplugging the
MFTS if he's low on boost/power, just in case it's that. I hunted
around in the archives and Wiki with google, and couldn't find
anything helpful.
Much obliged!
Brett
