You are asking *this* list if you should ditch the Saab?  You may just get a
biased - but honest - opinion.  Regardless of bias the //S is a far more
superior ride than a 9-5.  My mother has an '00 9-5.  She came to visit this
weekend and I did take it for a short spin.

If the //S is clean, go for it.  You should be able to do some nice tweaks
with the difference in sale vs. buy price.

Hello all,

I have a 2001 Saab 95 Aero, nice car, shame about the gearbox and lack 
of grip !!!!!!!
So, I had a quick look at a '93 S4 local to me. 138Km, needs tyres, 
quite tidy all round etc.
Am I completely totally nuts for thinking about selling the Saab and 
getting an S4/6 ?

I had a Coupe quattro in England, 200q and A6 Avant here in the US and 
have test driven a couple of S4/6 in the past.
I am well capable of doing most of the service work on a car, but not so 
much time these days.
