[s-cars] Am I crazy ? Aero to S4

Well since my friend had a Saab Aero and a Saab 900 I will say that I prefer
the S-Car on grounds of
1. rock-solid bottom end - try running 28psi of boost on a stock Saab bottom
end :)
2. lots of Mods and you can be sure the car will take the punishment
3. AWD - this is a big one if you live anywhere with snow
4. Superior interior - in my opinion the Swedes still haven't figured out
how to design a decent interior
5. Reliability period - My friend actually got his traded in on a lemon law
and the one he got wasn't much better...the older 900 seemed to be more
reliable....whenever GM takes over a car company something happens, and its
usually not good :)

The thing you will probably miss, though, is some low end torque if I
remember the Aero right.

Hello all,

I have a 2001 Saab 95 Aero, nice car, shame about the gearbox and lack
of grip !!!!!!!
So, I had a quick look at a '93 S4 local to me. 138Km, needs tyres,
quite tidy all round etc.
Am I completely totally nuts for thinking about selling the Saab and
getting an S4/6 ?

I had a Coupe quattro in England, 200q and A6 Avant here in the US and
have test driven a couple of S4/6 in the past.
I am well capable of doing most of the service work on a car, but not so
much time these days.

Comments please.
