[s-cars] slotted rotor ?

I was heavily a part of the AW discussion that Jamu pointed to.  It was
 interesting because although I was saying that the vanes in the middle
of
 the rotor should be pointed back, I always thought that the slots or
holes 
in the rotors should parallel the vanes. 

Maybe they did at one point but some firms (e.g. Stop-Tech) now arrange

their slots or holes going in the opposite direction than the vanes. 
The 
reason relates to not compromising the structural strength of the rotor
(so
they say).  Live and learn.

So the slots on the outside can look "wrong" when they are not as long
as
 the vanes are going the right direction (pointed back).
