The $330 034efi coil kit is based on the DIY instructions but with full
plug 
and play connectors.  If you aren't good with wiring or following 
instructions, either the Apikol or 034efi 1.8t coil pack-based kits are
a 
good value.  However, if you can do wiring and can follow
instructions,
 the DIY can save you around +/-$100.  Depends what your time is worth
 to you.

The $600 034efi high outpput coil conversion is another thing
altogether.
 Personally, I doubt that it is necessary unless you are making well
over 
400 crank hp. 

I can provide you help with the DIY (updates, etc) if you go that
route.
