If you have a 4-wheel dyno nearby, it may be worth a visit
to see if they can put it under power and see where it is
stumbling/missing.  Even a clue as to the air/fuel ratio at
the point of the stumble may help. An oscilloscope(?) may
help pinpoint ignition troubles.
