[s-cars] seperating tranny info

Ron;

There is no circlip holding the driveshaft CV joint to the tranny flange.
The only thing holding it on are the 6 bolts and the rust between the CV
flange and the tranny flange. If you've removed the bolts and can't separate
the flanges, they are probably rusted together. Look carefully at the CV
flange; you should see a shallow groove around the circumference. Set a
punch in the grove, angle it towards the rear of the car, and give it a
couple whacks with a BFH. Work around the circumference and it should pop
off. If it is stubborn, an air hammer used in the same fashion will do the
trick.

 Listers, I'm trying to seperate the tranny from the
front of the driveshaft. All the linkage is
disconected, mounts are free, the tranny is on a
hydrolic jack & a jack stand this moment. Is there a
circlip??
 & I suppose it's the same for the rear of the drive
shaft?? Circlip holding the end of the drive shaft to
the rear diff??
Thanx
