well heres my best shot in 10 minutes or less..

pump the brakes a good dozen times past the brakes being solid for good
measure.

remove fasteners to reveal the glorious sight of 'bare S above your shins'..
then reach up next to your opponent and remove this nice little piece of
material that looks frighteningly singed in my case....

-----------------------

next, i freed the clevis pin from the brake pedal carefully. either it
pushes opposite the horseshoe shape easily or theres a part of the clip at
the open end that gets lifted up&over the pin.

i then removed 2 of the 4 nuts on the servo, then went into the engine bay
and removed the strut brace, hydraulik and brake lines MC bolts, etc....
((*special note* i replaced the brake master cylinder at the same time so my
procedures are admittedly different than a straight servo swap.))

---------------------------------------

after noting the electrical hookups and covering the lines, with the MC out
of the way i then got back in the footwell and removed the last easy nut,
then went for the kickintha nut. attaching the 13/14?mm socket at the end of
the long extension, then attaching a short and another long extension as i
slowly passed through the hole in the pedal bracket. use your eagle eye to
line up onto the nut or put on some ray charles and feel for it.

--------------------------------------------

GLORY!! time sweat and prayers later and the beat servo is pulled out the
engine bay and cursed liberally, then a moment of awe for clear vision into
the interior through the gaping hole,,, quick! go get your new servo. i used
a used one, but oh well.

-------------------------------------------------

i was only equipped with 4 new locknuts and <SHRIEK!> silicone, both
acquired from jim at east stroudsburg hardware, thanks jim. OE gaskets are
always best, dont follow my lead on that one..

------------------------------------------------------

adjust the clevis pin to 230mm +/- 0.5mm. measured at a right(90*) angle
from the flat surface that touches the firewall to the center of the hole in
the clevis. then say clevis a few times in your head, thinking like a 5th
grader, itll put you in a better mood.

take a break, take a shot or do whatever you gotta do and then stretch your
back cause down you go again into the footwell

oh, first, id suggest having a friend handy for this one.

explain again and again your friends purpose.. to guide your(the contorter)
nut laden socket -with good spacial terminology- as you carefully guide/hold
the extension in place and wait for your friend to place the servo stud atop
the nut. proceed to thread. get it? qweblog at gmail.com if further imagery is
needed.

-----------------------------------------------------------

once you get the kickintha nut fastened, rejoice, for the fun is over, get
all robert bentley like and remember that you now work in reverse to get it
back together

*special note #2* okay well it took me 20,, for any future readers, this was
impromptu'd'd in less time than it takes me to remember everything so ask
questions, refer to your manual, only take my words and order given as
suggestions, be nice to people and all that jazz ....
