[s-cars] Blowing inlet hoses

Patient is '95 S6 with MRC RS2 setup, pushing 28 psi maximum boost.

 

For the second time I have blown the IC to crossover tube hose; this time
off the IC.  The IC is the plastic tanked one (i.e. even with the HD
constant torque clamps I may be limited as to how tight I can really get
things).  All hoses are SEMCO.  The hose did have some oil in it (as
expected) and perhaps some oil was on the hose-IC interface which made
things just slippery enough to blow off.  Motor mounts seem tight and I also
replaced the front snubber with a polyurethane one to limited engine motion.

 

I have an early, all metal IC that I could install.  Any suggestions on how
to keep the hoses on better?
