That's why I'm not enamored with Audi for new cars- they have no problems
just
dumping their historic cars. Mercedes does not do that. I don't know about
BMW,
but I know they did build a "new" 2002 a couple years ago from parts in
their warehouse,
to show that the parts are available.

Isn't that why all of those 6-speed transmissions showed up a few years ago?
Audi just
dumped them for scrap metal. Real smart.
