BTW, the C6 chassis S6 will be available as an Avant in the US- straight
from
Audi's internal communication.
So if you want a V10 powered rocket wagon, it will be here next spring.
For a daily driver, I'd be happy with the plain A4 3.2 Avant S-Line 6-speed
(you
would have to special order that one). They're quite quick, much cheaper
than a
S4. Sport suspension on the A4 seemed to me to be stiffer than the S4- maybe
because the S4 is so nose-heavy?
I prefer the 3.2 over the 2.0T for a few reasons- the 3.2 sounds better,
seems to have
better response overall, definitely a lot faster stock vs. stock. I hate the
diesel-like
idle that the 2.0T has.
