Not true- as I said before, the Passat W8 was available in 6-speed form at
least for '04.
There is a 6-speed W8 wagon that is a customer of my mechanic's. Very nice
looking
car with sweet 2-pc. BBS wheels from the factory.
Probably the best price/performance/utility wagon out there- AWD, manual
transmission, tons
of cargo space (significantly longer than the V70), safe, torquey and
luxurious.
