[s-cars] May be parting out my '93 S4

Sigh, guys, this isn't a Ferrari 250 or an Aston DB5. It's an Audi. They made lots of them. I can understand the emotions involved, but it's purely a means of transportation for me and my decision will be based on finances.

If someone wants to give me what I have into the car so they can "save" it, I'm more than willing.

personally speaking from dismantling a '93.. it felt wrong, unfortunately the block/ecu/seatbacks/IC/headlights and other precious pieces were gone before i bought the whole thing, and killed it the rest of the way..

dont mURder that car, go javads route or i have a good head i was going to eventually rebuild, but would consider selling it if someone REALLY wanted to keep their car, it doesnt sound to be so though for you doc.

by the way for you or anyone else interested. i work at L&T in PA and have access to many various vw/audi used parts for whatever lenny(my boss) sells them to you for, i only forward emails then let the rest up to y'all. YSYK as my girlfriend would say..

equally appalled, but willing to help, //brian

I fully understand that the fate of your "new" 93 S4 is in your hands.

That's why I was hoping to find you an alternative (the 7A head
conversion from 034) that would convince you to keep the car and NOT
part it out. I just hate to see S-cars that have not been hit to be
parted
out just because of a mechanical issue.

In my opinion, as always.

Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion, yours is duly noted.
However, I own the car so the ultimate fate of it rests in my hands.

"Doc": Personally, I am appalled that you (or anyone) would consider
parting out a running S-car just because of a head problem (did you
discuss the details of this problem with us? All the AAN heads are
probably cracked a bit by the sparkplug). I think you should try to
keep the car.
