Is there anyplace I can get a radiocode via VIN other than the 
dealer?"

Lee, I know you meant to say the radio went into safe mode.  However, 
maybe you got one of those fancy Sears batteries that need a battery to

make it work.

To get the code, you need to visit a friendly dealer with your VIN and

proof of ownership.
