As for the testing, I have access to all VAG tools. As for the the O2
sensor, just unplug it and see if the issue occurs. As have not tried
installing new engine speed sensors, but at this rate, I might be installing
new sensors everywhere if there are no leaks found. I am running MTM 1+
software with the MTM modded map. I have a 4 bar map, but I am waiting for
more hardware before installing it. The other chioce I have is to install a
1598 ecm harness and test the engine harness for opens or high resistance.
The one thing I like with ODB II cars, is you can view and see MVB's while
running. The older cars have binary numbers. Makes it a pain in the ass to
diagnose.
